Redeemer has a strong relationship with TruLight127 Ministries Foster Home in our community. We volunteer at their annual Christmas party, give gifts through our church Angel tree, have built a chapel on their property, and regularly support them financially.

We reach the unreachable with the love of Christ partnering with missionaries in Northern Guatemala. We work in villages helping to build a school, lead hygiene & home skill classes, and do children's outreaches.

We are taking the Gospel to the streets of our community by knocking on doors, meeting our neighbors, and sharing the gift of God's Word and some other small tokens of Jesus' love. We want our neighbors to know that we are here in Jesus' name for them!

Our small town of Marion has fun community events that we want to be involved in. Our church was invited to sing as Christmas carolers at the community Christmas Tree Lighting! We seek opportunities to serve in our community!

Serving alongside other local churches, we help to build homes with Habitat for Humanity in Guadalupe County. Habitat builds homes for families in need in our area.

Desiring to support our local food pantry, Redeemer receives on-going collections of food and hygiene items for people in need. Volunteers take the food to the pantry for distribution. We also regularly financially support this vital ministry to our community.

This Chapel: A Vision & A Prayer Answered from God
Youth Find Hope and Healing
God gave Don of Redeemer (pictured) a vision from God to build a chapel at the TruLIght Ministries Foster Home Village. At the same time, Sondra, the director, (pictured) was praying for it. This is what God did! Through prayer and financial support and hands on labor, God partnered Redeemer United Church and TruLight127 Ministries to provide a place of devotion and worship - a sanctuary - for children and youth that need to know God loves them! The story doesn't end there. As the chapel was being built, God laid on the heart of a volunteer to come on staff to lead weekly devotions in the chapel for the youth of the village. Only God!!!
